Welcome to the Canal Trips page.  This log started with our purchase of a share in the Ownerships boat Beeston Castle in 2006.  We enjoyed a number of holidays on this excellent boat but eventually came out of the scheme when we dropped down the booking priority list and ended up with single weeks we could not use in 2008.   However, we remained very impressed with Ownerships and in late 2009 bought back into the scheme with NB Winthorpe.  In the interim we optimistically dreamed of boats for purchase and with this in mind took a trip on NB Florence, a Northwich Trader built by R W Davis at Saul Junction. She is a replica of the steel motor boats built by Yarwoods of Northwich in the 1930s - a gem of a boat (see the pictures below).

I have also included pictures from Mochignano Chiesa in Tuscany as there is a connection between the wonderful Al Palazz and Ownerships.
